15 - meet your amco reporters Louise C. Tuttle, timekeeper in the Knitting Department of Plant #7, has been on our Amco News staff since 1950. Originally from Aberdeen, North Caro- Kna, Louise first came to work for ■^dams-Millis as a boarder in 1940. In 1942 she left to work for the War De partment, returning as timekeeper in January of 1945. Louise's hobby is raising Dach shunds and showing them. Her dogs, ^long with her husband's beagles, have placed in several local shows. She is pictured above with two of her prize •^nes, Randy and Sandy, who were a year old in June. Louise and her husband, Charlie, ^ho is assistant Finishing Department Supervisor at Plant #7, reside at 2500 Centennial Avenue, High Point, N. C. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ •*Rintshop foreman Visits paper mill Charlie Deviney, Jr. of the Print- Department, was recently the guest the Eastern Paper Corporation in Kangor, Maine. The trip was made Possible by Henley Paper Company of Kigh Point and the Eastern Corporation Bangor. Charlie left High Point on Sunday, OUe 24, by Eastern Air Lines and ar rived in Bangor that afternoon. There he was met by Mr. Jim Barry, repre sentative of the Eastern Corporation, and was taken to the Guest House, where they were joined by other printers and paper salesmen from North Carolina and New York. The tour through the paper mills was an experience everyone enjoyed. "We who work with paper and have not been through a paper mill cannot realize the process it has gone through before it reaches us, " Deviney said.
