- 3 - OUR VISITORS THIS MONTH -x: >>* i*:vy: Attractive Milla Goedert, Luxem burg delegate of the International Farm Youth Student Exchange, was a visitor in our full fashioned plant on July 10. She was accompanied by Mrs. Charles Wilson and Mrs. Neal Payne, both of Route #2, Madison, N. C. Guilford County was Milla's first "project" stop in her tour of the United States. Then, with a project in Rocking- hb.m County, she completed her studies here and has now gone to the Midwest where, until she returns to Luxemburg in October, she will study farming meth ods on a larger scale. Back in her na tive country, Milla will help to organize Luxemburg's equivalent of the Future Farmers of America organizations. Miss Goedert was impressedby the size of our industry and quite surprised at the number of women working in the plant, as in her country, the women work almost exclusively in the home. While in North Carolina, she lived in the home of Mrs. Payne. Other recent out-of-town visitors in our plants were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard McCaulay of Carlstadt, N. J., who were vacation ing in the South. Mr. and Mrs. John Van Der Steur of Montrose, N. Y., who were visiting in the home of their son, Fritts Van Der Steur, 1307 East Farris Avenue, High Point, N. C. Miss Mary M. Smith of Toledo, Ohio, accompanied by Mrs. Theodore Schubert, 1020 Wellington, High Point, N. C., in whose home she was visiting. DanMarotta, Long Island, N. Y., who is with the Hi-Toms baseball team this season. The following note, addressed to President James H. Millis, was re ceived from Mrs. Marjorie Levey of Houston, Texas, who visited in our plants in May: Dear Sir: Recently my daughter and I were conducted by Mr. Snotherly through your plant. We were impressedby the clean liness of the building, the friendliness of your employees and the warm hospi tality of Mr. Snotherly. I think it is really a credit to you to have employees so loyal and enthusiastic for their work. You must really be a good boss. We surely enjoyed our tourl Many thanks. Sincerely yours, Marjorie Levey 4: * ^ ^ J.
