At any rate, they re turned to work July 9, reporting a Wonderful expedition--but very few fish caught. Look on Page 14 for the answer 3-s to who they are. IN MEMORIAM Uf Jesse P. Clod- felter, retired em ployee of Adams- Millis, died on July 6, following a period of declining health. He had been a resi dent of High Point for thirty years and was an employee of the Boarding De partment of Plant # 1 from August of 1936 until June of 1955, when, because of his health, it became necessary to retire. Mr. Clodfelter is survived by his wife, Manilla C. Clodfelter, of High Point; two daughters and four sons. He was a lifelong member of Midway Meth odist Church. After an illness of three weeks' duration, Nannie P. Jackson, looper of Plant #2, died in High Point Memo rial Hospital on July 7, 1956. Born in David son County, Mrs. Jackson was employ- edby Adams-Millis in April of 1928 and had worked continuously since that time until three weeks prior to her death. She is survived by her husband, 'Vernon R. Jackson, and a foster son, 'Wallace R. Spencer, both of High Point. She was of the Baptist faith. J OUR SYMPATHY Our deepest sympathy goes to John nie Holton, Shipping Department of Plant #2, in the death of his mother, Mrs. Phoebe Homey Holton. We extend our sympathy to Earl Watson in the loss of his father, James Watson. Earl is head of the Order De partment of Plant #4.
