She is the daughter of Mag gie Gable of our Main Office. We extend our sympathy to Mamie Turnage in the loss of her mother, Mrs. Mary Swink. Mamie is a looper of Plant #1. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Millikan an nounce the birth of a daughter, Teresa Ann on July 12. The mother, Ann, is a looper. During the July F o u r t h holidays, Patricia Witcher and Gene Stultz â– were married in S. C. Patricia is a pairer at Plant #1. Congratulations and best wishes. June Johnson and her family spent their vacation in Florida. June is em ployed in the Shipping Department of Plant #1. Many employees of the Looping De partment spent their vacations out of town. Doris Mitchell and her family vacationed at Myrtle Beach, as did Joyce Kennedy and girl friends. Jettie Smith and her mother spent their vacation visiting Jacksonville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Warm Springs, Georgia; Chat tanooga, Tennessee; and Asheville, N. C. LoisBullin and her husband went to Macon, Georgia, to visit relatives. Nona Sink spent her vacation visiting friends in Ocean'View, Suffolk and Nor folk, Virginia. Hattie Miller went to Detroit, Michigan, to visit her daughter and family. While away, she also visit ed in Canada. Others who visited Can ada were Margaret Wilkerson and Kath- erine Leaptrope. Margaret went to see her daughter and her family in Niagara Falls, N. Y. Carolina Beach vacation ers were Collie Crawford and her hus band and Maude Grogan and her family. Maude also visited Wrightsville Beach and White Lake. Ann Freeman and family went deep sea fishing in the Gulf stream out of Morehead City; they also visited Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon. Mountain vacationers were Nannie Pat terson and family who visited Asheville, Cherokee and Bryson City. Viola Bow ers visited relatives in Claremont and then visited Blowing Rock. r* . > In an impressive coronation service held at Green Street Baptist Church recently, Ann Lewis was crowned Queen of the Girls' Auxiliary. Ann is the daughter of Annie Mae Lewis of the Sample Department. Michael Lewis, crown bearer, is the son of Joretta Lewis of the Pairing Department of Plant #1. Pamela Campbell is the flower girl. Plant #1 wishes to extend a warm welcome to A. B. Lockhart, Jr., and Grady B. Dinkins, both lot boys. Inez Cannon, with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Dawson, visited friends and rela tives in Tennessee, Florida and Ala bama during her vacation. Inez is a looper at Plant #1.
