- 10 NEWS AROUND THE PLANTS PLANT NO. 1 Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. P. Li. Smith on the birth of a son, Bar ry Lynn, on September 16, 1956. The mother, ForrestSmith, is an employee of the Pairing Department of Plant #1. Best wishes to Nona S. Danford and R. H. Huggins, who were married on July 25, 1956. Nona is employed in the Finishing Department of Plant #1. We extend our sympathy to Hazel Watson- in the loss of her father, Mr. Moxle y of Yadkinville, N. C. Also, our sincere sympathy goes to Mary Davis in the loss of her mother, Mrs. Hannah C. Davis, on Septem ber 11. Mary is a folder at Plant #1. Congratulations and best wishes to Gail Stewart and Vernon Smith who were married on August 24, 1956, at Chesterfield, S. C. Vernon is a knitter at Plant #1. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Barnett are the proud parents of a baby daughter, Jannis Leigh, born on August 2, 1956. Thomas is a fixer at Plant #1. Shelby Jean White, knitter at Plant #1, has returned to work after under going an operation recently. Welcome back--we missed you.' W. Bartlett, who were married on August 10, 1956 in Chester field, S. C. S. W. is also a knitter at Plant #1. We are missing Lebron Pike, fix er of Plant #1, who recently joined the Air Force. He is stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Congratulations to Jeanette Bird and Ronald Grissett, who were married onAugust24, 1956 at Chesterfield, also. Ronald is a fixer at Plant #1. We extend our deepest sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Sink in the loss of their baby. Fred is an employee of the Boarding Department. Electa Apple, Looping Department, and her family spent their vacation m Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. While there, they attended three double header baseball games, their favorite being the Cincinnati-Brooklyn one. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. C. D.
