- 3 - YOUR INQUIRING COLUMN "It has been suggested by some of our employees that instead of the company giving each employee a Christmas gift this year, the money to be spent on Christ mas gifts be given to the "Heart Center" at the High Point Memorial Hospital. What do you think of this project?" Mary Foster, folder at Plant #1; "I think it is a good idea. Everybody I have talked to about the idea agrees it is a wonderful project and something that will benefit all of us sometime. " J . C. Furr, fix- e r at Plant #1: "It's a good thing. We need more hospital rooms and this way we will have a part in the hospital. It would not be very much to any one person, but from all of us it would mean right much to help build the center. Most of us will most likely use the new project sometime. " Walter Webb, fixer at Plant #1: "It doesn't make much difference to me. It would not mean very much to me individ ually, but it would mean right much to the hospital. " Elonzo Kirk patrick, fireman- watchman at Plant #1: "It's alright. I believe in having somewhere for my- self or my wife or children to go if we get sick and need a hospital. This would help have a place for everybody to go if they get sick." mmp' ■I L Troy Hinshaw, quality control at Plant#?: "We ought to do it. All of us are going to need a hospital some time. No one wants to live in a community without churches and hospitals. " J. C. Furr, carpenter: "The necessary treat ment of just one patient in the hospi tal would be worth more than all the Christmas presents we would get. Of course all of us appreciate our Christ mas gifts at Christmas time, but it would mean a lot more if our gift was put in the hospital. " •f Ellanette An drews, folder at Plant #7: "I think it i s a good idea. I think everybody ought to be willing to give this way. It's certainly for a good cause.
