Ledwell carried on much of the experimental development of the GeTaZ gusset panel loopless toe. He worked very closely with the inventor, James L. Getaz, from the very begin ning of the idea to its completion and its acceptance by the buying public. He also assisted in the development of the loopless toe for the half hose, which patent has been issued and is known as the Ledwell method of sock closure. Jim Ledwell was born in Davidson County in 1906 and attended Wallburg High School. Success consists in making more money to pay the taxes you wouldn't have to pay if you hadn't made so much money already.
