but is real envious of all the nice sun
tans in the Pairing Department. (Bet

Bullard and her husband went strol
ling on the boardwalk at Atlantic City
but didn't see any Miss America con
testants.

Clara Lohr had quite a vacation! She
headed west, stopping in Kansas to
visit her brother and then journeying
on to Yellowstone National Park and
Washington and Oregon, where she

and her family had a ball camping at
Myrtle Beach. . . Ann Lewis spent
the week at White Lake. . .Pauline
Edmonds visited at Surfside, S. C.
and in Georgia. . .Margaret Russell
visited relatives in Norfolk and came
back by way of Myrtle Beach. . .
Forrest and Lois Jones enjoyed a
week at Crescent Beach (even though
it did rain a little). . .James Johnson

Lawrence Austin visited in Williams
burg, Kentucky.
Addline Hill, of the Print Shop,
spent a week journeying to and from
Montana. Even though her mission
was not a pleasant one (there was a
death in the family),she did enjoy see
ing the countryside of the Great West.

Thalma Halker is out sick but has
gone home from the hospital after hav
ing surgery. . . Lucille Brooks is also
at home now after having undergone
surgery. Hope they'll both be back
soon.

Santee-Cooper and enjoyed fishing,

Beach vacationers were Lee Marshall
and family, Lula and Paul Shore (Paul
came back with a stiff neck from look
ing at the pretty girls). Ruby Hedge-
cock and Carrie Lemar, Annie and
Earl Hewett (who didn't obey the safety
rules--they went to sleep while sun
bathing and had to be treated for bad
cases of sunburn), Phillip Pender,
Mr. and Mrs. Clay Pender and Mr.
and Mrs. Sam Neal, Jr., who camped
out at Lake Arrowhead, and Andy
Stamey and his family who were also
