The worlds have been framed by
the word of God. --(Heb. 11:3).
The substance of God is always
at hand. Our worlds are framed by
our word of God, by our prayers of
faith, by our affirmations of His divine
leadership.

We believe in good government in
our nation, our state, our country and
our cities. We believe good govern
ment is best assured when our repre
sentatives are elected by the majority
of our people rather than just a few
who take the time and effort to go to
the polls on election day.
On Tuesday, May 4, the citizens of
High Point will decide on nine men to
guide the destiny of our city for the
next two years. The nine men who are
to be elected should be elected by every
registered voter in the city. Only when
we make our voices and minds known
at the polls will we have public officials
who truly represent us. Those nine
men should be made aware of their
responsibilities and duties with the
knowledge that the people they repre
sent cared enough to go to the polls
election day.
We believe the presidentof Adams-
Millis Corporation, Jim Millis, has
demonstrated to us that he possesses
the kind of business judgment and
administration needed at City Hall in
High Point.
We believe Jim Millis will give the
necessary time and energy to city
affairs without neglecting his respon
sibilities to our company.
We believe he will be guided in
his decisions around the council table
by what is best for a progressive High
Point.
We believe a vote for Jim Millis
on Tuesday, May 4, will be a vote for
good government for High Point.
Regardless of your choice of
candidates, be sure to vote May 4.
