Now that, in a manner of speak ing, we're all working by the sweat of our brow, it's getting harder and harder to keep our minds on the busi ness at hand. Main Office: Barbara Jean Hiatt and George Ernest McDowell, Jr. , were married on Friday evening, May 14, in the Green Street Baptist Church Chapel in High Point. Dr. E. W. Price of ficiated at the 7 p.m. ceremony. The couple are making their home at 1023-B Richland Street. The bride is employed in the main office; she is the daughter of Christine Hiatt, cor respondence clerk of Plant #1. Plant #9: MAC Panel employees seem to get around quite a bit in the summer. Glenda and Bruce Burns went to Yaupon Beach this past weekend; Alta Murphy and some of her friends went to Myrtle Beach; and Nancy Hankins and her husband enjoyed a trip to Carolina Beach. Rachel Cranford enjoyed the weekend camping at Lake Tillery. And the rest of us? We're I While Dale Faircloth washes the windows at Plant #7 during spring cleaning time, he is under the watchful eye of Sidewalk Superintendent Herman Russell. Barry Cook, grandson of Mazie Rowland, folder of Plant #7, graduated from High Point Central High School in June. Barry was an outstanding athlete while in school.
