Peele also went to the mountains but in Tennessee; he took his granddaugh ter with him for a ride on "Tweetsie. " Gwendolyn Gregory visited rela tives in Tennessee. Juanita Bodenhamer visited rela tives in New York. Helen Hayes visited her aunt in New York. While she was there, she went to the World's Fair. Betty Johnson, Pansy Davis (Ex perimental Department) and Brenda Davis (Main Office) visited relatives in Titusville, Florida. Floread Stephens visited her daughter in Easley, S. C. Annie Stutts visited her daughter in Orlando, Florida. She got to see her new grandson for the first time while she was there. Geraldine Lambeth moved into her new home in Thomasville during vacation. Dot and Bobby Dills have also moved into their new home on State Street. Violet Graven visited relatives in Wallburg and in South Carolina. Billie Folds went to Carrollton, Georgia for a visit. Lucille Walker visited in King, N. C. Luke Jones says that he just spent his time playing ball. Clara Russell and Herman went to see their son, Wray, in Bennetts- ville, S, C, , who has recently been transferred there from Ohio. They brought their grandsons back for a visit during the week of the Fourth. Mabel Ellis spent her vacation in St. Augustine, Florida. Mary Waldrup visited relatives in Waynes ville, N. C. Flora Setliff spent some time with her sister in Randleman. Alva Matthews' son from Oklahoma City visited her during vacation. Some did nothing special--just stayed home and slept late, relaxed and did whatever their hearts desired. Youda Brady was in this group--she spent one day picking blackberries. Peggy Shelton, another in this group, took her children and enjoyed a relax ing day at City Lake. We miss Doris Hulin and Blanche Ward who are out on sick leave. Hope they'll soon be well and back with us. It's nice to have Stella Scott back; she was out to undergo surgery. Sample Department More vacation news. . . . lone Calhoun visited her son in Arizona. Ann Lewis spent her vacation in Florida. Modell Stamey visited in Augusta, Georgia. Carolina Beachers were James Johnson and Pauline Edmonds. Forrest Jones roughed it on a house boat on Fontana Lake. (Ask him about his fishing experience.) Larry Austin sent his wife on vaca tion and stayed home. Alice Hill vacationed at Long Beach. Plant #2: Knitting Department Paul Allred visited his son in the Air Force in Mississippi during his vacation. David Owens was among those who were at Carolina Beach, David York went to New Jersey. Vacationing at Myrtle Beach were Maurice and Gertrude Scales, Raymond Riggs and Victor Arrington. Leonard Laws enjoyed a stay at Lake Tillery. Julius and Stacy Cundiff, as well as James Thompson, spent their vaca tions in the mountains. Herman Inman went south to Florida. Joe Allred enjoyed his vacation at Cherry Grove Beach.
