Knit Sox Is New Division Of Adams.Millis Corporation Adams-Millis Corporation has purchased the Knit Sox Knitting Mills in Hickory and is now operating the plant as the Knit Sox Division of Adams-Millis. The change in manage ment and ownership was effective August 1. The plant will continue to operate under the management of Superintend ent J. F. Dale, who was associated with Adams-Millis before joining Knit Sox. Acquisition of the Knit Sox plant enables Adams-Millis to offer a wider range of children's and misses' socks in its line of family hose. Approximately 250 employees are now working at Knit Sox. Tatum, Jr., superintendent of the finishing plant in Kernersville, becomes acquainted with the ORDER- MASTER lift to be used in the stock room of the new plant. The lifts will be used in the rack sections which are 15 to 20 feet high. An order clerk will be able to operate the truck from any height.
