David Owens went fishing at Carolina Beach, and Charlie Jarvis enjoyed a vacation at Myrtle Beach, J. M. and Stacy Cundiff vacationed at Cherokee. Eloise Hiatt went to the mountains and took a ride on "Tweetsie." And Claude Laws went sailing near Charlotte, N. C. Betty Brooks and Ralph Martin \ ^j|\ were united in mar riage in the parson age of White Plains Baptist Church on Saturday, Septem ber 4, 1965, by the Rev. Carl Lackey. Betty is employed in the Turning De - partment of Plant #2. Plant #4: Gladys Neal, seamer at Plant #4, was married to Lonnie E. Riggs on August 29, 1965, The ceremony was performed in the White Road Baptist Church by Rev. Clint M. Branch J ' after the Sunday morning worship service with the congregation attending. They are making their home with the bride's mother, Mrs. Lucy Neal Casstevens, Route #4, Glenn Street, Kernersville, N. C. Plant #7: Ruth Lee and her family spent the Labor Day weekend at White Lake. - 11 Congratulations and best wishes to Peggy Marshall and Dwight Miller who were married on September 4, 1965, in Sparta, N. C. Rev. Lewis Wil liams performed the double ring ceremony. Dwight is supervisor of the Shipping De partment of Plant #7, where Peggy was formerly employed in the Finish ing Department. Curtis Church, yarn man in the Knitting Department, is still out of work after undergoing back surgery. We wish a speedy recovery for Juanita Trotter, looper of Plant #1, who has just been released from Duke Hospital. Virginia Coggins and her family went to Old Fort to visit one of their former pastors.during Labor Day. Sorry to report that Mike Ford is hospitalized; hope he'll soon be feeling better. It is with regret that we'll soon say goodbye to Jerry Thompson, who will be leaving for school. Marie Mabe's son and daughter- in-law from Florida visited her recent ly- Agnes Creech visited friends in Beckley, West Virginia during Labor Day weekend. Welcome back to Pat Martin who has returned to work in the Order Department. Janet Neave and William James Evans were mar ried on August 6, 1965, at the Deep River Friends Meeting House. Janet is employ ed in the Pairing Department of Plant #7.
