Many of you have saved regularly for years by taking advantage of our payroll deduc tion plan, and your company has been happy to maintain this plan as a service to you, affording a systematic plan to save for the things we want most. Beginning December 1, your com pany, in cooperation with the United States Treasury, is conducting a Sav ings Bond Canvass in our plants. Many of you have, no doubt, been planning to sign up for Bond deduction but have been putting it off for a better and more convenient time. Now is the time for you to sign up with many others. L«t me point out, however, that if you do not sign up now, you may sign up at any time it is convenient for you. Each of you will be contacted by a fellow employee or supervisor who will be prepared to answer any questions concerning this easy way of saving. All you have to do to invest regularly in Bonds is to fill in the authorization card indicating how much you want to save each pay day and what size Bond you want issued.
