IThtBiUt For ye, brethren, for freedom. were called --(Gal. 5:13) We have certain freedoms within our possession that have power and use in our everyday life. We are free to pray at any time, to bring love into life, into our work, to our fellow work ers and all humanity. Let's give thanks that each person can use these free doms and share them with all mankind. -2 Juvenile Delinquency?. . . Delinquency of our young is a popular topic of conversation. "They have no respect for authority, " we hear. "How can we teach them? " Franklin noted: "None preaches better than the ant, and she says noth ing. " Action is the loudest speaker. It is better to show than to tell. A good example is better than millions of words. Alexander received more bravery of mind by the pattern of Achilles than by having the definition of fortitude. It isn't the cry of the wild duck, but its flight, that leads the flock to fly and follow. The strongest argu ment is: "I have seen it with my own eyes." Let's stop talking and start show ing. Disrespect for authority mani fests itself in breaking minor traffic laws, in "stretching the truth" in con versation, in misleading advertising-- in a hundred minor actions which we may consider unimportant but which are demonstrations to our young. Our youth cry: "Don't tell us, show us!" Delinquent children? Or delin quent parents ? Success is a ladder which cannot be climbed with your hands in your pockets.
