Adams-Millis Coro ration has, for the third consecutive year, re ceived the Sears Certificate of Symbol of Excellence awarded annually by Sears, Roebuck and Company. From left, following the presentation, are: R. L. Boyles, director of manufactur ing of the Men's and Boys' Hosiery Division of Adams-Millis; Robert Gorenflo, national boys' hosiery buyer for Sears; and C. P. Wirsching, vice president in charge of sales of Adams- Millis. The presentation was made in a formal ceremony at the J. Ed Millis Plant in Kernersville on May 15, 1968. The award was made to Adams- Millis Corporation in recognition of the outstanding performance of its management and employees in produc ing superior quality products for Sears during the year. This mother-daughter combina tion is employed in Plant #6, Which is the mother? It isn't easy to tell, but she--Elizabeth Setzer--is on the far left. The daughters are, left to right: Pauline Henson, Azalee Haas and GuStine Setzer. Oops. . .We goofed! Our apologies to the following employees whose years of perfect at tendance were reported incorrectly: Mack Harris, Main Office, has had seven years of perfect attendance, not two as reported. Nancy Bates, Plant #4, has a record of six years--we reported only two. Harry Mabe's name was omitted from the list. He has completed his ninth year at Plant 3 without missing a day. Carroll Lineback's name was also omitted. He has completed his fourth year of perfect attendance with Adams- Millis in Mt. Airy. 5 “
