Smith Is Industrial Engineer Harold E. Smith has joined TexElastic as industrial engineer of the High Point rubber covering plant. Harold attended Guilford College, and for the past fourteen years has been em ployed with Burlington Industries. There he held positions as stand ards clerk and manager, projects and assiciate engineer, and served last in the capacity of plant industrial engineer for Burlington's Madison yarn plant. Harold, his wife Peggy, and sons Ritchie and Ronald reside in Greensboro and attend Church Street Baptist Church. Harold enjoys fishing and an occasional game of golf. TWENTY - FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE Booth Named Supervisor William L. Booth IS TexElastic's new est supervisor in the Haeford plant. He Assumed third-shift Supervision duties Ihere the last of June. Bill attended the University of N o r t h Carolina at Chapel Hill ^nd has been associat ed with the Robertson County Board of Educa tion for the past two years. He is married to the former Faye Jackson and they reside with their son, Bill, in Parkton, l^orth Carolina. Margaret Elliott Hosiery Division Kerner sville July 19, 1948 Sam L. Mabe completed twenty-five years of continuous employment with the Hosiery Division's Kernersville plant on September 22, 1973. “Because I’m a watchdog, that’s why.” •5- William T.
