WORK CAN BE FUN Betsye Downing, a knitter in Plant 1, Hosiery Division, wrote her supervisor, Clifford Chappell: Dear Friends, I h a V e had a great time working a t Adams-Millis Corporation this past summer. I could not'have chosen a more friendly place to work. I was working to help my parents pay for my college when that time comes. Each and everyone who gave me help, I appreciate it very much. You have helped me in many ways that you don't even know about, I enjoyed work ing with each one of you. I enjoyed the fun along with the good healthy hard work. I could not have done as well as I did without the knowl edge I learned from your teachings. I am very grateful to you all. 1 h o p e to be back next summer. See you all soon, Betsye Downing -9- T h e longest day in the year i s the first day back from your vacation. Arnold Glasow
