DICKERSON AND KENDALL APPOINTED SA LES y TECHNIC A L REPRESENTA TIVES With the announcement in March that Tex- Elastic had changed from a sales agency group to direct yarn sales, Carl R. Harris, President of TexElastic,also announced several personnel changes relating to the new direct yarn sales program. Heading up the new sales program will be Charles T. (Ted) Burgess, who has joined TexElastic as Division Sales Manager and will be responsible for all elastic yarn sales. Burgess, a textile grad uate of Georgia Tech and a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, comes to TexElastic with twenty- _ three years of sales experience. Most recently, he was a sales executive with National Spinning Company; previously, he was associated with Emery Industries, Inc. where he directed the sale of textile chemicals for their Organic Divi sion. Ted, his wife Aline, and two of his three children, Alan and Dawn, reside at 4510 Wild Oak Lane in Greensboro. His oldest daughter, Karol, is married. When time permits, Ted enjoys golf and hunting. President Harris also announced the appoint ment of Joseph C. Dickerson and James M. Kendall as Sales/Technical Representatives for TexElastic. J. C. Dickerson J. M. Kendall Ted Burgess Dickersonjoined TexElastic in 1969 as Tech nical/Service Manager after having served some 21 years in sales, quality control, and develop ment with Filatex Corporation and UniRoyal, Inc. He, his wife Betty and son Phillip reside at 1612 Merrimon Place in High Point. His older son David, and daughter Linda, are married. In his spare time, Joe enjoy^-^ riding quarter horses. Kendall came with TexElastic in 1970 as Assistant Technical/Service Manager. Prior to joining TexElastic, 'he spent two years as Divi sional Process and Quality Control Manager at UniRoyal's Winnsboro, S. C, plant. He, his wife Vicki, and son Jim, Jr., live at 224-C Northpoint Avenue in High Point. Pictured at right is the newly organized Adams-Millis softball team in Kerner sville. The team is in the East Forsyth Family YMCA Industrial Softball League. All games are scheduled to be played at Kernersville Junior High School.
