Page 4 - AMCO .NEWS - Februar>. 19&2 Awards Presented 247 Employees Marl Forty-Five Years Ruby Keep Plant 6 Employees Receive Awards At Ceremonies At awards ceremonies just prior to the Christmas holidays, 274 Adams-Millis employees were honored for marking special anniversaries with the Corporation. Ruby Keep, of the Finishing Department at Plant 6 in Hickory, received the award fcr the longest service-45 years. She also retired at the end of the year. James H. Millis, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Adams-Millis, and ^^illiam B. Mewborne, Jr., President and Chief Operating Officer of the Corpcration, at tended the ceremonies and made the presentations. Employees of TexElastic Corporation, an operating divisicm of Adams-Millis. were presented their awards in Raeford. Employees erf the Arch dale plant receiving awards traveled to Raeford fw their presentation. Employees receiving 25-year, 30-year, 35- year and 40-year awards are shown in the photographs on these pages. Gold watches were given to those marking the special 25th anniversary; others marking years of service at five- year periods were given necklaces «■ tie tacks.
