The things he left most of all were a few pounds around the middle. I bet the diet scales real ly are booming! Frank Starret went home to Georgia. He went bird hunting while down there and he says the feathers really flew. The only thing, they’re still on the birds. Dallas Crouch went home to Alabama. He must have had him self a time; he was two days late for work. Red Ingram went to Florida with his wife and friends. They retlly liked the weather down there, so he says. Tommy Kemp has found himself a new home, at the bowling alley. (Since his BEST GAL gave him bowling balls, bag, shoes and all.) . . . Louise Welch won’t say what she got but we think i-t was a Buick, ha! ha! We aU were sorry to hear that Earl Ward passed away. Our sympathy goes to his family. By the way, your reporter got himself a suede jacket from old Santa “herself.” That’s all for now, see you next month. Jessie and Bill Lehmon spent the weekend in Taylorsville visiting relatives and friends . . . Edna Suits and family spent Christmas day with her parents in Jack sonville. Your reporter is a proud grandmother again. It’s a little girl — born December 19 in Thomasville to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Whitehead. Her name is Joyce Lynn. Donald Far low became uncle January 8. It’s a niece and the parents are Louise and Ronald Gauldin of Archdale. Diane Williams, daughter of Sadie Hedgecock, is a patient at the local hospital. She is under going treatment and observation and is not allowed visitors at present.
