Summer Quarter Sew It Seams Page 3 MAMIE HALLMARK PERSONNEL—The four group photographs on this and the opposite page show the entire personnel at the Hallmark Plant in CUinton. There wasn’t space to identify each person by name, but since Hallmark is celebrating its 100th birthday, this was an excellent oppor tunity to show what a fine looking group of persons make up Hallmark’s family at Clinton. Mrs. Mamie Simak is receptionist-secretary at Halhnark in New York City. She has been with the company 12 years. VACATION NOTES WORKING FOR HALLMARK in High Point at the Hudson Office are, standing, Maude Talley, Bob Hilliard and Rene Suggs and seated, Pat Vestal. Edwards Heads Clinton Plant Lawrence Edwards, who is Hall mark plant manager in Clinton, came with Anvil Brand in 1947 when the Sherrod plant was pur chased. He went into the engi neering department in 1954 and W'as transferred to Clinton in 1957. He is married and has three children. PERSONNEL CHANGES IN SALES DEPARTMENT E. A. Peyton, Jr., Director oi Sales, has announced the appoint ment of Mr. Herman Nemeroff as Sales Manager of the Hallmark Shirt Co. Mr. Nemerofl will fill the posi tion which had been held by Mr. E. L. Boggan, Jr., who has been appointed Assistant Sales Manager of Anvil Brand. Hudson Office: Maude Talley and her family took quite a triji— ahnost to the North Pole! Well, not quite, but they did get to Santa Claus Village which the children probably thought was even better. They drove to Can ada in their station wagon, visiting points of interest along the way. In Canada they rented a cottage on Algonquin Lake and got a taste of Canadian Summer—just right for slacks and jackets! They vis ited Casa Loma Castle, an authen tic castle dismantled in England and brought to Canada where it was rebuilt as a tourist attraction. And of course, Niagara Falls. Maude said it was a marvelous trip . . . Personnel Director Aline Carter and her children, Jimmy and Jane Ellen, spent the week, at Crescent Beach. With them were Nancy Potts and Ossie Wright, Safety Director. White Division; Leola Newell visited her daughter and grandson in Asbury Park, N. J. . . . Addie A. Hayes and family went to South Carolina . . . Anna B. Hughes spent the week in Shallotte . . . Elizabeth Davis went to Pet ersburg, Va., to see her grand children . . . Charlotte Morgan vacationed at Myrtle Beach, Ge neva Lethco at Clearwater, Fla.; Mary Reid at Myrtle and the Great Smokies and Fontana Dam . . . Sally Smith and Virginia Davis went to Carohna Beach. Viola Draper visited relatives in W'est Virginia . . . Doris Quick v'isited parents in Cheraw, S. C. . . . Frances W’ills visited her mother in Florence, Ala., and relatives in Atlanta . . . Virginia Jennings visited her parents in Austinville, Va. and Shelby Martin went to see relatives in Sanford . . . Glenda Wilson saw Ghost Town and the Smokies.
