(1931) and M.A. (1937) degrees from the University of Missouri, Miss McLachlan served an internship at Columbia Univer sity Medical Center (Presbyterian Hospital) in New York City. She did postgraduate work at Teacher’s College, Syracuse, and Michigan State University. After profes sional experience at Evanston, 111., and Nashville, Tenn., she returned to Missouri and was for seventeen years on the staff of St. Louis University Hospital as Instructor, Assistant Professor and then Associate Pro fessor of Dietetics.
