Each member of the class wore a festive costume in order to amuse the children. Miss Becky King, who dressed as a "fat lady," was indeed a hilarious sight, as were all the students. Half of the class visited Matas, while the other half visited Howland. Candy treats were given to the children who could eat them, and toys were given to those who could not Pumpkins were also carried to both wards to add to the atmosphere of Halloween. Both children and stu dents had an enjoyable evening. A MOTHER’S APPRECIATION Dear Doctor, At this time of year our thoughts go back to 1958 when we first met you as our special doctor. It was at that time that you operated on our son because of the terrible disease cancer. Since that time you have not only been our doctor but also our friend. We have called on you for help in matters concerning Jerry and you have simply been wonderful. We thank God for you and men like you who have dedicated their lives to such a needy profession. We as a family regard you as a person worthy of our praise. Our son Jerry, is doing fine. He has a good job, works every day, has a lovely wife and two adorable little girls so you see why we thank God and you. May your life and influence mean as much to others as it has to us. Sincerely, Jerry's Mother BULLETIN BOARD BRIEFS Dr. James V. Lieberman, Director, National Medical Audiovisual Center, Atlanta, Georgia, will be the Dean's Hour speaker Nov. 30; and Dr. Richard P.
