Full-term Nursery
Geraldine Harris, DTO, has
introduced a time saving idea to the
Full-term Nursery. Staff now use two
doctors' orders books, containing all
patients' order sheets. This eliminates
the necessity of going through every
chart in the rack to verify orders.
Nurses, DTO's and doctors all are
finding this new system helpful.
Harris brought this idea with her from
Howland Ward where it originated. The
FTN salutes her for milking the work a
little easier and more efficient.

SHARE YOUR GOOD TASTE
What's your favorite recipe? The
Library Staff Association would like
to include it in the Duke cookbook
that members are compiling.
The association is seeking recipes
from administrators, faculty, staff,
employees and alumni. Proceeds
from sales of the cookbooks will go to
special association projects such as a
scholarship fund for library staff
members, according to Catherine
Leonardi, association president.
"We'd like to thank those who
have already contributed recipes,"
Leonardi said, "and ask others to
please send their favorite recipes to
me at Perkins Library as soon as
possible."
The recipes are preferred typed on
3x5 inch cards. They should include
the name of the recipe, the name of
the person submitting it and that
person's telephone number.
For more information call
Catherine Leonardi, 684-6359.
