Malfunction
leaves Octagon
in smoke
A ventilation problem caused
the fire alarm to sound in Octagon
Cafe on Aug. 30.
Around 7:30 p.m., the fan in the
kitchen stopped working, allow
ing the smoke from the grill to fill
the facility.
Four firefighters arrived at the
scene shortly after the alarm
sounded. The situation was con
trolled and nobody was harmed.
