Established by Chris Brumbaugh and Lynn Terrell in 2011, The Root is a frequent hot spot for Elon students and surrounding community members. Freshman Eddie Falshaw repeated ly returns to the restaurant because of its affordability. “The Root is the best place to get a good quality burger at an affordable price,” Falshaw said. For others, their love for the restaurant comes from the ability to have a flexible dining option that fits their busy sched ule.
