Miss FSTC Is Crowned
Presentation of Annual Alumni

The highlight of the Annual Blue and White Ball staged recently in
the Lilly Gymnasium was the crowning of Miss FSTC by President
Rudolph Jones. Gloria Crawford, junior from Lumberton, North Caro
lina, was presented to the Student Body and crowned at intermission.
Gloria, who has been a Dean’s List student each of her five semes
ters here at FSTC, has been elected to Who’ Who Among American
Colleges and Universities. She is also affiliated with SNEA, Future
Alumni Association, the College Choir, Baptist Student Union, Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, and is a College Marshal.
Her reign begins with the fall semester of the 1963-64 school term.

Miss Jonhson is a member of the
College Marching and Concert
Band, YWCA, Baptist Student
Union, and Student NEA.
Miss Johnson reigned over the
May Day Activities held on the
College Athletic Field. The theme
was “Keeping Fit For America
Through Physical Activity.”
Included in the activities were
dances and stunts featuring mem
bers of the student body and New-
bold Training School. The College
Band furnished appropriate music
throughout the program.
