PAGE FOUR THE VOICE MAY, 1965 MAY DAY PRESENTATION Judo Club SOPRANO IN CONCERT Sherree Crouch The J. W. Seabrook Audi torium was recently the scene of the final lyceum program for the regular 1964-65 school session. We were privileged to have Miss Claudia Lindsey as the guest artist for this last in our series of such programs. A soprano from New York, Miss Lindsey has appeared in leading roles in "Aida" and "LaBoheme" in the Heights Opera Association productions in Central Park, New York City. In her concert here Miss Lindsey sang many of our Favorites, such as "Gretchen Am Sprnnrode" ("Marguarite at the Spinning Wheel") by Schubert, and "Oh, What a Beautiful City" arranged by Edward Beatner. Biss Lindsey's very able accompanist was Mr. Julius Robinson. The evening's performance proved a fitting climax to a season of highly entertaining as well as cultural lyceum numbers.
