Some treasure the dillies and dallies of
an Easter Bonnet,
With all its flowers and trimmings
upon it;
The curves and styles of the brand new
dress
Which are fashioned in beauty, I must
confess.
Though styles and frills have their places
my friend.
Don’t forget that they, our God did
send.
Not only the frills of man’s Easter
parade.
But his Son who died and arose
unafraid.
God’s Easter Parade is a marvel to
behold.
Embracing the mind, the body and the
soul;
Paraders all dressed in their frills of
smiles,
And as humble in the heart as a little
child.
