'Ex'
Dear Myrtle,
My fiance, whom I love very
dearly, was sick in the hospital
about a week ago. My concern
for his health inspired me to sit
with him night and day. Last
Saturday evening my fiance’s
“supposed to be ‘Ex’ ” popped
in. She acted as if I were not
there. Although I was sitting on
the bed, she came over and
kissed him in the mouth. I mean
this really infuriated me. After a
stay of about four hours, she
left. I discussed it with my
fiance but he said things were
over between them. But Sunday,
she popped in again. This time
she felt it her duty to examine
the area of his body in which he
was operated. Had it been his
hand or foot, I would not have
minded. But Myrtle, it was in an
area where I definitely don’t
want other women examining.
I just don’t know. I want to
explode but I believe him when
he says that I should trust him. I
still have some misgivings
although I do love him. What
should I do?

Had your fiance’s “Ex” only
shown up once you could have
easily accepted her entrance,
even that kiss. But a second
entrance, and thorough
examination, is a little too much
to take. Maintain your cool. If
he is your fiance there can’t be
very much to her appearance on
the scene. Believe him; but if she
should appear again, one of you
should ask her to leave.

been digging on me, mainly
because I led her on. But now
I’ve found the girl I really want
to be with. So how can I tell this
other girl which means little or
nothing to me to bug off
without hurting her feelings.

means little or nothing to you, it

though he thinks more of his
friends than of me. Am I just

If this affair hasn’t been going
on very long you may just be
imagining things, but if you
know him very well then there
may be a problem. Some people
feel that they must have many
friends and will do quite a bit to
keep them. If this is the case he
is not doing it on purpose. Just
talk to him and let him know
how you feel. The two of you
should be able to work this out
effectively. Be tactful.

I know this girl that comes to
the village very often. She slow
drags very fine. So fine that no
one can dance with her unless
they walk away with their hands
in their pockets trying to hide
something. All the guys get
serious after one dance. How can
she be told that she must slow
down or someone is going to do
a JOB on her (me).

body odor, without hurting her
feelings. I put up with it during

windows open. I can’t make it

solve. The best thing to do is to
tactfully tell her about her body
odor and give her some advice
about how to rid herself of this
