Kicking with amazing ac curacy, the Floridian has converted four straight PATs and kicked three field goals for a total of 13 points. John Mitchell, FSU punter, has punted five times for a total of 194 yards and a 38.8 yard average. Senior defensive linebacker Arnold Johnson has 17 assists in the tackling department while teammate Armond Wrenn, linebacker, has 14 to his credit. The Broncos will receive their first CIAA test September 21 at Norfdk State College. Ray McDougal’s squad will be trying to revenge their loss at home last year when the Spartans came- from-behind for the victory. Norfolk State will have a new coach in Dick Price, but he will have practically the same cast which defeated the Broncos last year. Leading the Broncos offensively is running back James Godwin who has amassed a total of 178 yards on the ground in two games. He’s followed by running mate Glenn McKoy with 129 yards. Godwin is averaging 6.7 yards per carry and McKoy 5.1 per carry. 2 -0, DEFENSE THE BRONCOS FSU FOOTBALL SCHEDULE :• Date Opponent Site •: Sept. 7 Federal City Fayetteville, N.C. •: Sept. 16 Fort Bragg Fayetteville, N.C. :• Sept. 21 Norfolk State Norfolk, VA. :• Sept. 28 Shaw University Fayetteville, N.C. ii Oct. 5 ' Morehouse Fayetteville, N.C. •: Oct. 12 St. Paul’s College Lawrenceville, VA. ?
