The pur pose of these tournaments, as is the case with all other intramural tournaments, is to bring the various skills of the students across the campus to compete in these activities. Trophies are awarded to the winners of each of the particular activities. Whereas the games are limited this semester to just bowling, billiards, and table tennis, the games next semester will be expanded to include backgammon, chess, and darts. On January 15, the tournaments were held for this semester. The areas of com petition, their winners and runners-up were as follows: Men’s billiards 1st runner-up Women’s billiards Men’s Ping-Pong 1st runner-up Women’s Ping-Pong Men’s Bowling 1st runner-up Women’s Bowling 1st runner-up 1-Earl Bryant Ricardo Stevens 1-NoraC.
