Page 6 The Voice April 30,1982 ROTC NEWS ROTC Detachment 607 at Fayette ville State University has been awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award (AFOUA). This award is presented for exceptionally meritorious service or ex ceptionally outstanding achievement that clearly set the unit above and apart from similar units. The award was presented in a ceremony on March 25 at 3:30 p.m. in the J.W. Seabrook Auditorium. Brigadier General Chris O. Divich, Commandant, Air Force Reserve Of ficer’s Training Corps, Air Training Command, will present the award. Detachment 607 is receiving the AFOUA for outstanding achievement during the period January 1, 1979 through December 31, 1980. During this period enrollment increased from 115 in 1979 to 217 in 1980. This academic year the enrollment trend continues as Detachment 607 is ex periencing the highest enrollment since its inception.
