The Poetry Garden Back Against the Wall: AJ Gwynn There are times in life where everyone is going to have their back against the wall, Circumstances looking like they couldn’t get any worse, but you can either stand tall or fall. You can either walk your way out of the bad, or crawl your way deep into depression, Times like this you have to stay focused on the positive things, only optimistic thoughts like it’s an obsession. Know there will be a better day, a better way, God will get you through whatever you need, all you have to do is pray. At the end of the turmel you have to believe the light is shining bright. All you have to do is withstand, and everything is going to be alright. So dry your eyes stop the crying, put down the food stop the lying. To yourself saying this all was your fault. Now you know that’s not true, many other factors come in to play besides you, Putting the blame all on yourself will turn the reddest heart blue. Yeah you think your situation is bad, but in actuality you are still very blessed. Many people are worse off than you, I’m talking no food no family, try living with that type of stress. And if you are complaining then you must have the ultimate gift of all, that being life, How many friends and loved ones are no longer here? And you letting the minor things ruin your whole life. The haters will continue to hate, and they are going to be working overtime if you doing your own thing or making that money. But a hater’s job is to hate, don’t let anyone else bring you down, you know misery LOVES company. Never let anyone else bring down your self-esteem and change how you see the person in the mirror, When you look into the mirror the only person you need to be trying to satisfy is... the person in the mirror. Doing the right thing and what’s best for you can sometimes be a hard thing to do. But in the end you will find out that very few have your best intentions at heart, so call it conceited but you have to focus on YOU. Just when the stress is getting to you, and it seems like you have taken it all,. Remember what I told you, keep praying and counting your blessings. He will bring you through, when your back is against the wall... m etagst we som, «T » A TO rwE HBLL 46^ Kay W^* VOU OQ t*ALi?je CC!UU3 & OH mm I jeeiiiTiRJi, ! thatsia nm urrs ew'twE eu-ry WE C8£*y.
