dents connect with part time job opportunities (2Do)
Delivering financial aid in a seamless, simplified
environment
Reduce telephone and long waits to see a coun
selor in office
Staff will provide ongoing education to students
on how to use Banner Self Service
Conduct ongoing workshops about the financial
aid process
FSU-Student Responsibilities
Acknowledge and meet all deadlines for applying
and reapply for Financial Aid
Provide complete and accurate information on
the FAFSA and financial aid forms. Misreporting of
information for federal aid is a violation of the law and
is considered a criminal offense
Respond to all requests for additional documen
tation in a timely manner. Provide updated information
when changes occur such as a withdrawal from school, a
change in name, marital status, housing or expected date
of graduation
Reading, understanding, and accepting respon
sibility for all documents that must be signed and keep
copies of them. Also students must comply with all pub
lished financial aid policies.
Informing the Office of Financial Aid of any and
all outside scholarships or resources available to assist
you while attending FSU
Being in good Academic Standing with the
university as well as maintaining Satisfactory Academic
Progress
Perform the work that is agreed upon in accept
ing a Federal Work-Study position
Responsible for the Statement of Educational
Purpose located once the FAFSA is signed. The state
ment affirms any financial aid funds received will be
used solely for educational expenses related to atten
dance at FSU
Students who receive any type of student loan
while attending FSU must complete entrance counseling
and once a student graduates, withdraws or drops below
half time status, exit loan counseling must be completed
Be aware of the University’s refund policy as
contained in such publication as the University Catalog
