spring semester people, a final semester
for some and a step toward completion
for others. For those of you who are won
dering where to go from here, consider
your involvement with an organization.
Are you a worker or a participant? Have
you conquered tasks, built a resume and
more importantly left impressions worthy
of recommendation?
If you can't answer yes to all of the
above, you my friend are a participant. A
spectator who has no real angle in your
cause other than as a tick on your re
sume. Please be mindful that regardless
of how many people know your name, if
you can not perform when your name is
on payroll, you will be dismissed. "We've
decided to go another route," doesn't
mean you should download mapquest,
it means pack your things and check out
the classifieds, fl Pe d
Nevertheless, I encourage everyone to
find their place. Find that one thing that
gets your creative, educational, and logi
cal juices flowing and go with it!
On another note it is Women's month and
as a woman it is my personal mission to
be the best person that I can be. I do not
fear the unknown, only the things I ne
glect to uncover.
I invite all those interested in learning to
use real world skills, communication and
time management to join The Voice Stu
dent Newspaper. We are For Students, By
Students but we hope to train individuals
for professional careers! Again, I chal
lenge everyone, women and men to be
about it-talking about it is only half the
