Photo Conrtesi of PBL By KEVIN SMITH For the spring quarter Phi Beta Lambda has sponsored an Easter basket drawing, cleaned its 2-mile portion of the highway, and participated in the American Cancer Society’s "Walk, Run, Swim" event. It also hosted a "Bring Your Own Banana" for a banana split fest for instructors in the Business/Computer Technology Division, honored their chapter's secretary Suzanne Coe and the Business Department's secretary Betty McClellen with cards, flowers, balloons, and cake. In June members and their families will travel to Kings Dominion. NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NTSA) The Non-Traditional Students Association consists o'f male and female students 22 years and older. The club meets once a month for fellowship and planning. Presently the club is planning a canoe trip down the Cape Fear river on May 29. Meetings include sharing information regarding community activities and helpful information. Students share rides, swap books, and investigate the possibility of day care. STUDENT AMERICAN DENTAL HYGIENIST ASSOCIATION (SADHA) The Student American Dental Hygienist Association participated in the Child's Dental Health Month. R. Rouse, O.J. Jojner, C. Faison. MULTI-CULTURAL ASSOCIATION FOR ENRICHMENT (MCAE) In the spring quarter 7 MCAE members attended the Second Annual African American PHOTO: mil SMITH Student Leadership Conference at UNC- WiImington. In June the club will have a retreat to plan for«the upcoming year. Students visited various high schools and middle schools to give advice about dental hygeine.
