Representing 31 schools, 198 students came from as far away as Charlotte for the contest according to Jeanne Carreras, secretary of the Math Department. The schools were grouped into 2 teams-- Algebra 1 and Compre hensive. Algebra I winners consisted of 4 teams: Greensboro Day, Spring Creek, Elm City, and Hunter Creek. Comprehensive winners were Enloe, Chapel Hill, Athens Drive, and Apex High Schools. Awards were also presented to the top 4 individuals in the Algebra I and Comprehensive tests.
