The new buildings,
A&A and A&H, still have
finishing details to be
completed, according to
Linwood Anderson, Vice
President of Education
al Support Services.
"The air condition
ing boxes have some
leaks but will soon be
repaired; otherwise,
all is well."
One addition to
campus is 6 benches, 2
in the colonnade
between A&M and MSS
buildings, 2 on the
first level outside of
Hocutt, and 1 each at
the first level of A&A
and A&H.
The benches were
purchased with profits
from Bookstore sales.
Anderson said the
next projects will not
include buildings but
additional parking
lots, a road paved from
the back of campus out
to New Hope Road, and
work to make the other
Wayne Memorial Drive
entrance look like the
main entrance.
Anderson said, "At
the last Board of
Trustees meeting, the
Board approved the
architects for the road
paving project, I am
working on the aerial
survey now, and we hope
actual paving will
begin this summer."
