On Wednesday, March 15, from
9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., the
Wayne Community College Co
op and Job Referral Department
and the Seymour Johnson Family
Support Center sponsored the
Tenth Annual Wayne County Job
Fair during which representatives
from 70 businesses and industries
shared information about
employment with students and the
public.
According to Anne Millington
of Co-op and Job Placement, the
purpose of the Job Fair is to give
•Wayne County residents the
opportunity to discuss their career
interests with professionals
informally and a way for
employers to improve the quality
of their workforce.
Millington said, “This year’s
job fair focused strongly on
technical and vocational
occupations, and we appreciated
instructors who brought their
students.”
Millington and Olhe Foster of
Seymour Johnson have
collaborated for the last 5 years to
bring the event to campus.
Participating businesses
included health groups-the

Center Health and Rehabilitation,
