This semester’s intramural sports consisted of ping-pong, pool, and flag football. The intramural football league consisted of 4 teams, each consisting of 10 players—8 active and 2 reserves. Each game ran for 40 minutes with a 3-minute rest break between each 10- minute quarter. Team members chose their own team names: the Redskins, Headhunters, Ravens, Buccaneers, and It Don’t Matter. Assistants at the flag football games included Steven Hannum and Eric Anderson, line officials; and Kristin Cottle, timekeeper. Wayne Parson, Director of Student Activities, said the idea of an intramural league had been in mind for some time; students urged its start this fall.
