CAMPUS VOICE.
Layne Janning gets a head Bunch
start on her education
By DANIELLE JAFFE
Staff Writer
Layne Janning attends
Wayne Community College
as a Jump Start student from
Spring Creek High School.
The program allows her to
begin accumulating college
credits while still attending high
school.
Layne is an A and B student
and wants to get into Interior
Design. She hopes to one day
attend Harrington College of
Design in Chicago.
Layne is single and loves
meeting new people.
“I have eight boyfriends,”
she chuckled, adding, “just
kidding.”
She is like many teenage girls.
She enjoys shopping, playing
golf, hanging out with friends
and going to the beach.
You can often find Layne in
her Outback server uniform.
She has short dark brown hair, a
cute smile, and lots of spunk.
“I have my own unique style,”
she said.
On her day off, you may well
find Layne Janning in some cute
ensemble, such as leopard high
heels with jeans, girly top and
purse to match. Layne loves
clothes, especially shoes.
“Once you pick out the shoes,
it’s all down hill from there,”
she said.

the training or the dedication for
the work that he believes they
should have.
Music is about more than
just numbers and writing words
down that sound good, he said.
One must have a genuine love
of music to understand the
level reached by outstanding
performers who work all their
lives. Some of these people,
he says, give all they have and
barely make a living from it ...
but they persevere.

Mr. Bunch has loved music for
as long as he can remember.
At the age of 10, he discovered
just how important music really
was after being asked to play for
his church. There, he deepened
his love for gospel and other
types of music.
Years later, after having
to choose between pursuing
a career in either music or
baseball, he earned a degree in
Music Theory and Composition
at East Carolina University.
Today he lives in Beverly
Hills, where he has continued
to enjoy a very successful
career, thanks to people like
top television music composer
Mike Post and the people who
encouraged and taught him
while in Wayne County.
That love for home is why Mr.
Bunch came back.
And home still loves him,
demonstrated in part by the
Foundation establishing a
scholarship in his honor that
will help other music enthusiasts
work toward their dream of
reaching the stars.
