Monday, February 3, marks the end of their labors; the com pleted work is to be taken to the publisher on that day. The publication of THE COU GAR—a one hundred-forty page, eight and one-half by eleven inch publication—is to be completed by the last of May. It will be available to both full-time and part-time students. Students who have been enrolled fulltime for at least three con secutive quarters will have al ready paid for the yearbook through the student activity fee. Part-time students, however, will be required to pay a yet un determined fee if they choose to buy a yearbook. Listed below are the names of the annual staff members wlao have worked so diligently to pro duce a year book of which we at WCC can be proud; Steve Harvel, Editor; Brenda Mathis; Shirley Russell; Anita Shepard; Jarret Poe; Gwynda Joines; Phil Swanson; Bill Parry; Paul Hub bard; Jack Bryan; Floyd Rogers, and Mrs. Virginia Bassett, Advisor. Instructor Accepts Position With GM Richard C. Martin Jr., auto motive instructor at Wilkes Com munity College for the past eight een months, has resigned his position to accept employment with General Motors Corpora tion. Prior to his employment with the college, Mr. Martin was serv ice manager for Rose & Day Motor Company in Elkin; auto motive instructor with the Mar ine Corps at Camp Lejeune; service manager for F & W Chevrolet in Elkin; and auto- (Continued on Page Four) DONALD DUCK Six students at Wilkes Com munity College have been select ed to appear in the national pub lication WHO’S WHO AMONG STUDENTS IN AMERICAN COLLEGES.
