The Vocational Committee’s purpose is to foster vocational and occupational interests and programs in the local area. Cougars Down Isothermal The Cougers stunned Iso thermal Community College in the first half of play Monday night February 10 at Wilkes Cen tral’s gym by obtaining a 15 point lead and then beating off the Patriot rally to defeat the Iso thermal team 78-66. It was the Couger’s finest victory of the year over the once beaten Iso- thermaL Tommy Guy led the scoring V.y Ay;.-;.,.,, - \ XMv.- .rf sVj ' * 'J*., With 25 points. Charles Lawson and Tommy Hayes were next with 21 and 16 points respectively. Johnson led the scoring for I.C.C. wv with 22 points. The real difference in scoring came in the free throws. W.C.C hit 24 of 30 for 80 percent, while I.C.C. got 12 of 15 for 80 percent also. The Cougers showed greatly improved board strength and completely dominated the re bounding in the first half.
