On May 1 the Annual Staff*s dance was held in the Student Commons. The Turks played to a crowd of lively students and teachers. The dance, lasting 8:00 p.m. until 12:00, saw very good participation and it was quite evident that everyone had a good time. The next Thursday night, an other dance was held at the Na tional Guard Armory. This dance, sponsored by the SGA was also an 8 til 12 affair and was open to all the high school students in the surrounding area. Music was provided by the Ver- satiles of Winston-Salem.
