Circle K Elects
Sweetheart
In a recent meeting of the
Circle K Club at Wilkes Com
munity College, the club took
up the annual chore of selecting
their sweetheart to reign for
the school year.
After careful consideration,
the club elected Barbara Lank
ford, a freshman college trans

Miss Lankford is the second
sweetheart to be picked by the
young club, succeeding Gwynda
Joines as the Circle K’s only
honorary female member to the
club.
Barbara is a graduate of West
Wilkes High School and lives in
Millers Creek.
