The or ganization, the Wilkes Com munity College Cheerleaders, has been trying to reduce the number of candidates to an ef fective size for a squad. The 1972-73 Wilkes Commun ity College Cheerleaders will be led by captain Elaine Broach, a graduate of Wilkes Central, who is currently a sophomore enrolled in the College Trans fer Curriculum. Elaine will be assisted by co-captain Carlla Triplett, also a sophomore in the College Transfer area and a graduate of Wilkes Central.
