LEWIS GOES DOWN FOR “3” The Calm After The Storm Radio has its problems. There are always technical difficulties that must be attended to in order for the air waves to be filled. Nature has a way of putting a halt to radio operations. The staff at WSIF will agree with this because Nature has put the station in a state of temporary silence. On June 2nd Mike Walker, who was on the air, came into the RTV classroom and reported that WSIF was off of the air. While Mr. Stanley was trying to find the problem, the class sat around and tried to think of someone to put the blame on if they were questioned. However, it seems that the blame was placed on Mother Nature. One of Her stray Bolts of lightning fell upon WSIF and caused it to cease operation. A vital component was burned out. Because of that sudden stroke of misfortune, part of WSIF had to be shipped to Pennsylvania for repairs. If all goes as planned, operation will begin again after the upcoming break. In the meantime, Mr. Stanley and the RTV class are hoping the old cliche “lightning never strikes twice in the same place” is a factual statement. -By Dusty Ball G O O D G O O D I M E S F O O D Phi Beta Lambda served ice cream.
