Commencement Marshals The ten rising sophomores who have maintained the highest scholastic averages during their freshman year are honored by being named Commencement Marshals. The Marshal who has the highest academic record is designated Chief Marshal. The Criminal Justice Program at W.C.C. prepares students to become a law enforcement officer. The program offers courses that are both theoretical and practical in order to help There has been two intramural events held this spring at WCC. Four teams participated in the softball intramurals: the Yankee Express, the Rollers, Mu Alpha Theta, and the United Nations. The Orientation and Placement Day the student attends will include the following: Nelson-Denny Reading Test; Comparative Quidance and Place ment Computation and the Applied Arithmetic Test or the Elementary Algebra Test; a “teacher-made” evaluation of English Composition skills and writing sample; a coffee, coke, cookie break; small group prepare the students for positions in police work.
